| Club Vision & Ethos |
Club VisionIt is our stated intent to be the leading amateur football club in Western Australia by 2012! The Club has identified three key pillars for its future success: Performance; Club Spirit and Self Belief. Image from Website Elements goes here PerformanceThe performance of the Club is reflected in: a. In the way we play; First and foremost as Nedlands FC strongly embraces the spirit of professionalism and fair play; we expect our players to play "hard but fair" and exhibit sportsmanship and courtesy in their contact. We strive to play a brand of football that is built upon the foundation of a fluid passing game and that it is a pleasure to watch. We have built a reputation for being a Club that is enjoyable to be a part of, where football is a passion!b. In the way we support our coaches and players to improve the skills and success of our players and teams; Over the past couple of seasons enormous effort has gone into identifying and embracing coaching methods and equipment that allows us to nurture the incredible talent that we have in the Club. For the first time in 2007 we have introduced a Technical Committee which is dedicated to deliver coaching standards of excellence. c. How we measure our success; The ultimate measures of success in the Club are that:
Club Spirit: Nedlands FC is making a concerted effort to grow a strong sense of identity with the Club, to build Club support through social functions such as the Quiz night and Club supper and through the sharing of ideas across the Club. We encourage "internal bridge-building" in the Club both within age groups and across age groups in the Club. Self Belief: Nedlands FC is blessed with beautiful grounds and incredible talent. We are a young Club but we are making our presence felt on the field. As we continue on this path it is only a matter of time before we are recognised as the leading amateur football club in Western Australia! Club Ethos“The club values are those of fair play, sportsmanship and ethical behaviour, and we support a culture of good passing football.” If you have comments or feedback, please contact Jan Jungstedt on 0412 076 385 or at
