UWA Soccer Club and Nedlands Football Club have been in discussion with regards to a merger of the two clubs with the goals of each club being similar and each club having something to offer the other.  The oportunity to amalgamate was proposed.  Both clubs presented this opportunity at their 2008 AGMs seeking in principle support to pusue the amalgamation, with a final decision to be made by members at the 2009 AGMs.
