The Quiz Night will be remembered by all as a great success, for those that can actually remember it! A big congratulations is in order, we all managed to consume enough alcohol on the night to wave the hire fee! It wasn't all about drinking though, dress ups and quiz questions were the order of the night. Tommy Morons took out 1st place, followed closely by Milky Discharge (don't ask) and The Lion Kings. Dickenscider took out the best dressed table prize and also funded a trip to Bali for the couple who run the local fancy dress shop, well done!There were a few glitches on the night, the paper aeroplane paper disappeared until the last minute. Robin (Dickensider) thought he had won the paper aeroplane comp...he hadn't! A handful of Jelly Beans (from the jelly bean counting competition jar) were consumed in error before the winner was announced, Chris Ryan aka Austin Powers though they were just treats for the table! Despite the glitches we managed to raise $4000 for the clubs, thanks to all those that attended! |
